Horrocks-Ibbotson Registered Vernley Bamboo Fly Rod, 9', 7-8 wt.
The last of my HI Registered rods, this Vernley is a 3/2 rod and is registered as No. 696-6. It weighs in at 6.2 oz (5 1/4 oz. blank weight). and is billed as a “Stiff Bass” rod. The varnish is great (for some reason, HI varnished their impregnated rods) and the ferrule fit is good. The cork handle still has the new velvety feel!
