Horrocks-Ibbotson Hi-Test Registered Bamboo Fly Rod, 8.5', 5 wt.
A rare HI Registered Hi-Test, this was the highest quality rod produced by HI, especially in the Registered Grade. This 3/2 rod has been used (the mid-section is short 1”) but is still very fishable and collectable today. It is registered as No. 2051 and weighs in at 5.5 oz and is a very nice 5-6 wt. The varnish is good (for some reason, HI varnished their impregnated rods) with a few hook dings and the ferrule fit is good. Wound with red with black trim. There is a partial label on the tube.
