Horrocks-Ibbotson Registered Chancellor Bamboo Fly Rod 8.5', 6 wt.
A rare HI Registered Chancellor, this was one of the highest quality rods produced by HI, especially in the Registered Grade. This 3/2 rod is registered as No. 142 and weighs in at 5.8 oz (4 5/8 oz. blank weight). It is a “Medium Dry Fly” action and is a very nice 6 wt. It has a Registered-marked bag and tube. The varnish is good (for some reason, HI varnished their impregnated rods) with a few hook dings and the ferrule fit is good and they pop. There is some cork ridging. There is a partial label on the tube.
