This beautiful set of books extolls the virtues of various 19th century sportsmen, in addition to Isaac Walton and Charles Cotton.  Written by “Thormanby”, it has 32 portraits and illustrations and is bound in beautiful ¾ leather with the top edges guilded.  It has a bookplate from the library of F. H. Wells.  It is in excellent condition, with just a few rubs on the cover edges and corners.
