Rare Horrucks Ibbotson Bamboo Travel Rod

This Model 3090F is probably the rarest of the HI bamboo fly rods. When its six sections are assembled, it is 8.5’ in length. The tube is 20” long. The 5 1/2” cork handle is in good shape and it feels like it could handle a 6 wt. line well. The ferrules seem to be secure, but I would consider it more of a collectible than a user however, primarily because of its rarity and because travel rods are not known for being good casters.
